Initial Consultation – Free of Charge
We offer a free initial 30-minute consultation via phone, Zoom, or Teams. While there is no charge for this, we cannot provide a detailed quote during the initial consultation due to the intricacies of the Planning system and the varying nature of each project.
Following the initial consultation, we will provide a detailed bespoke quote setting out the Scope of the Works, the Terms and Conditions for your project and the costs typically expressed as a cost range due to the varying local planning authority requirements. Our fees are generally based on an hourly rate. It is not usually possible to provide a detailed proposal/quote without a site visit, for which there may be a charge, depending on location.
Invoices will be issued and are payable before a planning application is submitted or every month as appropriate.
A planning application fee is typically required when submitting a planning application. While this fee is usually included in the quote, it should be considered an approximate value until it is confirmed at submission. Most applications are submitted and paid online via the Planning Portal, and the application is not sent to the local planning authority until after payment is received.
