FOUR HOUSES IN THE GREEN BELT

Permission granted for a gated community containing three detached houses and a bungalow with access through the pub car park. It was the second application on the site. The first application, submitted by a different planning consultant, was refused because of strong local opposition, on the grounds that the use of the car park would impede the pub’s business and adversely impact an important community facility. Working closely with an architect we devised a scheme which convinced the Planning Application Committee that the scheme would not impede the pub’s business nor adversely impact a community facility.
