Outline Planning Permission was granted on appeal for a house in the Green Belt next to the Knot Inn in Rushton Spencer. The Appeal Inspector agreed with us, rejecting the Council’s arguments that the site was not in the village, was contrary to Green Belt policy; that it harmed the setting of a listed building, and that it would have an adverse impact on the village’s character and the surrounding countryside. Detached house now under construction.
